buttons take 116, leaving 184 for the label — and the widest label,
Right Wide Attacking Midfielder, is 183.8. It clears by two tenths of a pixel.
So the mark and its toggle go on a row of their own under the header.
Ross's counter-offer: dim a settled position AND give every card a status border —
green settled, amber has players but is not signed off, and a third colour for empty. The border
answers "what is left?" at the card edge, so nothing has to be hidden to ask it.
