Player card — one Statistics & metrics tab (#608)

Ross, looking at the card with five months of the save in it (#568): Attributes and Roles look smart and work well; Statistics and Metrics look a bit rubbish. The brief:

Everything below is the real save — squadvision.db, 25/26, captured August to December, both kinds, every player — and every bar, trend, monthly change and comparison is computed in this page from those captures, not typed in. The one exception is marked wherever it appears: no season before 25/26 exists in this save, so All seasons adds two illustrative earlier seasons, generated from the player's own figures, to show what the toggle does three seasons in. D, the combined tab, comes first; A, B and C — the first round it was built from — follow unchanged. Each is drawn as the card at the size it really gets (1180 × 640 body, scrolling inside as the card would).

D · All three, by two toggles recommended — Ross's idea

Ross liked all three for different reasons — A for having everything in one clear view, B for one category at a time, C for the pictures — and asked whether one tab could offer all three. It can, because they are two choices over the same season rows: what to show (every figure, or one category — the chips) and how (as figures, or as graphs). A is the default. The season table — the statistics that are the sample — stays at the top, unchanged, in all four combinations, so the row you clicked carries across: A shows every figure as at that capture, the graphs mark it on every line, and a category is A narrowed to that category: its figures down the left, the picked one charted large on the right, click a figure to chart it (round three — Ross: "basically the same as the all one but instead just the filtered down view to the category and the graph"). The fourth combination, one category as graphs, is a chart per figure.

The first round — the three shapes D combines, as they were

A · Ledger and panels

The two tabs Ross likes, joined. The season rows are the Roles tab: a row per season carrying the sample — apps, starts, minutes, rating — that opens into its capture points, each with what changed that month. The figures are the Attributes tab: every statistic and metric in its category, coloured and barred, as they stood at the row you clicked. Click a figure for its trend in the rail — the graph.

B · A season grid, one category at a time

#406's first idea taken literally: the grid turned on its side, a row per season that opens into its captures, the sample pinned on the left of every category so a rate never loses its minutes. Chips pick the category, and Trend swaps the table for one small chart per column.

C · Tiles with a trend each

Graph first. Every figure is a tile — the number, its bar, and a line through the captures. There are no season rows; the line is the drill-down, and clicking a tile opens it into a full chart with its capture table.
